4 years agoA restaurant serving very good standard lunch menus. The food quality was good. The plating was eye catching and appetizing. Cozy environment. Staff friendly. Had revisited in a week. Would definitely come back again in the future. As a side issue, the restaurant sold canned sardines. The staff advised that the complexity of the taste increased as it aged. That accounted for the reason of a higher price of the older year ones. Interesting fact to know indeed.

4 years agoMy husband spoke highly about this place. He said it's always crowded in summer. So we went there last week for dinner, yes, it was winter so the place was quite empty inside, the food selection is very traditional serving some fish, some meat, we went with the scallops as a starter but they were uncooked (not really our taste) so we left it nearly untouched, then we had a beef stew and a lamb dish, both were rather one dimensional in taste and a bit boring, .. it was quite disappointing. I would have expected a much better taste for a 40 CHF lamb dish, it was really basic. So no, not again, sorry. Better alternatives. Also we were sitting in the winter garden and the floor is dirty, the wooden structures old, the windows dirty.. you see that the place needs a renovation.
